If you’re tired of your apartment, why not go to someone else’s?

Namely the Campbell Apartment. Don’t worry if you’re not acquainted with the former tenant, wealthy railroad executive John W. Campbell. He’s long passed and today his former offices at Grand Central Terminal serve as a lovely throwback bar to grab a drink.

Slightly hidden behind Cipriani Dolci – the long tall room is all brass and leather and giant fireplace (which unfortunately houses a giant safe… instead of a fire). The drinks are from another era and prepared by top notch cocktail mixers. Regardless the weather they’re certain to make you something that will warm you up.

One word of warning though. Your new friend Mr. Campbell stood on a certain amount of ceremony – and as such The Campbell maintains a dress code: No sneakers, tattered shirts or baseball caps. Considering the weather right now, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Enjoy!
