Coffee… please just coffee. Lots of and strong. Now. (Somewhere near Houston and Bowery)

If you get there quickly enough maybe you won’t have to fight off some the city’s most dedicated coffee connoisseurs who regulary line up at this tiny East Village shop on Lafayette (there’s also an uptown location on Grand St.) to partake in espressos, cortados and americano’s galore.

Although the place is tiny, and you likely won’t be able to snag one of the half dozen available seats (a couple more when its warm and they can place a couple benches outside) rest assured the intelligentsia brews will perk you and keep you going all day long.

The folks working the machines are not just operators but experts in their craft and their medium. They will gladly discuss all granular differences in tasting notes between an Organic Kurimi from Ethiopia, Los Delirios from Nicaragua or the absolutely mind shattering La Perla De Oaxaca from Mexico.

I understand that you might be hungover and I get that you’re just looking for your fix, but that doesn’t mean you have to be a barbarian about it and do something crazy, like duck into the nearest starbucks.

Trust me – this is the superior choice.
