What's The Word? 

“I’m shopping with my girlfriend on Madison Avenue, when a flash flood hits.

Taking cover under a store canopy, I sent a quick text to FLY Concierge.

I texted, “Need burger joint on the upper east!”

Ask (FLY) and you shall receive. Delectable Burger!

FLY texted back, “J.G. Melon.”

I bought a $5 umbrella from a street vendor and we made a hurried dash to 74th and 3rd.

Once inside, I glanced at the scant menu and knew we were in the right place.

The joint was old school with checkered table cloths and a long wooden bar.

I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with cottage fries while my girlfriend went with the Turkey Burger with a tossed green salad.

We added a few beers to the equation and toasted to a soggy Saturday afternoon.

Before long our food was finished and so was the downpour.  We trashed the umbrella and headed back out for more retail therapy.
