I miss my days on the high seas and want to feel like I’m back on a boat. And eat great oysters and seafood and maybe a burger. Where should I go?

My seafaring friend I believe I’ve got just the place for you.
Lure Fish Bar is a SoHo hotspot that’s been hot for the past 10 years (no small feat). The subterreanan dining room is dressed up to look like a high end yacht. Where some restaurants with a boat theme can come off as cheesy, Lure exudes nothing but high seas class.
Even if the place was cheesy with costumed pirates performing on the half-hour, Lure would still be worth it for the food alone.
Fresh delicious oysters and a raw bar that can rival any that in the city. A daily seafood selection that spans the gamut from lobsters to whole branzinos to a couple more adventures fishes you might now have heard of.
If you’re going with someone who is not seafood friendly, no worries there is also plenty of land lover fare to be had and the burger might be one of the hidden gems of Manhattan (as far as burgers are concerned).
To finish it off the wine list is well curated and the cocktails are fantastic.
Truly with what you’re looking for – you can’t go wrong here.
